Coco-hut is a Caribbean inspired food-truck concept, inspired by coastal classics with a modern twist.
The color palette was taken from the gradient of a beach sunset. For a modern approach to a cuisine with a rich history, I used a roomy sans-serif. Its no-frills simplicity is reminiscent of vintage life-guard stand branding. Versatility was important when adding elements to the logo and submarks. The priority was readability from afar (on a food truck) and close-up (printed on a cup), as well as recognizability (in the form of a simple mark).
